This CPU doesn't bottleneck my GPU at all, not even in latest games. Really satisfied with its performances. For more info, check my profile.

For those who are asking.. This cpu is at the level of amd fx 6300 in some cases even better then it.. i had a athlon 760k clocked to 4.6ghz it was on the lvl of an fx 6300 and now on this platform i can tell you that the i3 is slightly faster in every day usage when it comes to rendering then the fx 6300 shines.. i hope this helps ..

Try to run bench where is going to use all cpu ressources and there you can see how much fx6300is going to be better

It depends bro if you need a cpu for rendering you will go with FX 8xxx series from the amd side forsure .. if you are a gamer then the i3 really shines the core per core performance is even better then the 8350 i can tell you that forsure ;D

Of course it is. It have about 25-30% better performance depeends on clock but still when it came to multithread there fx cpus shines

It isnt an older version of 960 , but you can still go for it and in cpu intensive game turn on the shading cache option from the nvidia panel , to make cpu works less and gpu a little bit more

I heard gtx 980 is 5% bottleneck against core i3 4160. How come 960 is bottlenecking the core i3 4160? IT really depends on the games you know, Like If I were to play FPS graphics game, then I should be fine. Instead of strategy games.

This one in deed bottlenecks CPU-intensive games. And it is pretty obvious too: just turn on your Afterburner and watch the percentages. My r7 370 doesn't even break a sweat, whereas my CPU is showing a constant 100% workload! On the other hand, its value for money is amazing. I like it, but I don't love it.

if the cpu is 62 degrees celcius it is a low temperature. CPU's can get up to 90 degrees or more so its fine ;)

Well 62C are fine, max temp for your CPU are 73C, but 90 or higher are NOT FINE as ChaseFamous suggest, anything above 85C are reason to worry. I have a heavily overclocked 220W CPU and my temps never exceed 67C on full load. But anything below 70C are considered normal and shouldn't comprimize the lifespan of the CPU ;)

there is no game which requires certain amount of cpu cores,
I have i7-3770K @4.5GHz and games still prefer to use fewer fast cores rather than trying to split tasks into all 8 cores (which I tried by unparking all cores and dropping maximum cpu load to 90% which basically forces more cores to be used)
