APU A10-7860K Quad-Core is a performance CPU based on the 28nm, Steamroller architecture.


It offers 4 Physical Cores (4 Logical), initially clocked at 3.6GHz, which may go up to 4.0GHz and 4MB of L2 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Core and Virtualization are activated and the processor has the clock multiplier unlocked, meaning it can be overclocked easily.


The processor integrates very powerful Graphics called Radeon R7 7860K, with 512 Shader Processing Units, clocked at 757MHz, which share the L2 Cache and system RAM with the processor.
Both the processor and integrated graphics have a rated board TDP of 65W.


It is a powerful Quad Core whose performance is good. It's thus capable of running most applications smoothly without any problem.

That depends on if you want to do hybrid graphics or not. If you want to do hybrid graphics then the r7 250 msi version 2.0 2GB is the best. If you arent going to use hybrid graphics then it can handle up to a r9 380 or a rx 470 without a bottleneck if using nvidia then a geforce 970 once again any higher would give you a bottleneck. Though a cheaper route would be to get an athlon x4 860k CPU it has the same CPU performance but you can't use hybrid graphics with it. I hope this helps answer your question!

It really help men. Thanks. Really? It can handle upto rx 470 and r9 380 without bottlenecking or overclocking the cpu? I thought rx 460 is enough for this? Or 750ti or 1050.

Awesome that this not only runs cooler but seems to be the same performance as the A10-7850K The Question I have is why is that when the key specs on them seem to be different?
