The specific performance specs for this high end Intel CPU are still unconfirmed, but some benchmarks are starting to appear.
The Core i5-7600K 4-Core 3.8GHz is a high-end CPU based on the 14nm, Kaby Lake micro architecture.
It offers 4 physical cores (8 logical), initially clocked at 3.8GHz, which may go up and 8MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, HyperThreading, Turbo Boost 2.0 and Virtualization are activated and the processor has its multiplier unlocked.
This CPU is likely to offer exceptional computational performance and will not be the bottleneck in any modern gaming PC. It will be able to play all modern games comfortably on high/ultra graphics performance without being a hindrance to the accompanying GPU.
you think the 7600k will be a good upgrade from my current cpu?
should I upgrade to this from a I5 4460?
This or the i5 6600k?
Game debate please fix the cpu comparision to the 6600k they are not the same as 6600k runs at 3.5ghz vs the 3.8ghz of this one so its around 7% faster.
i5 4570 - bought mine for £145, 3 years ago
i5 7600k - seeing it for £240 online
7600k is 14% better according to game debate
Am I missing something? What have Intel been doing for the past 3 years? Performance per £ going backwar
I believe the Kaby Lake CPUs will be released on January 5th not 30th. Plus, this was benchmarked and confirmed that it's around 9% faster than the 6600k so it's strange how the system reqs on the right are the same as the 6600k.
32GB of RAM is the maxium? Really? :(
its 3.8GHz not 3.5Ghz xD
