R5 1400 or i5 6600 for "1080p" gaming?
(The stability of game is more important for me, no graphics settings" Thanks.

Ryzen is confirmed for better and more consistent frametimes which means less or non-existent stuttering and smoother gameplay when combined with a suitable graphics card

There is no guarantee that you can hit 4.0 ghz on 1400 why you dont get just i7 2600k?

only way MAYBE to nail 4GHz on the 1400 is maybe watercooling but if he were to go i7 might as well save the coin and go Ryzen 7 same power at less cost despite they can auto overclock unless you set the bios on supported boards

I currently own a r5 1400 with stock fans and it could overclock to 3.75GHz but its too hot for my liking. I am using it at 3.58GHz and I'm liking it a lot. However, upgrading from a oc'ed i5 is more of a side-grade performance wise. If you care a lot for power efficiency. IMO, r5 1600 is the better choice.

The information listed here is wrong. It should be:

Base Clock Speed: 3,2GHz
Turbo Speed: 3,4GHz

L1 Cache: 384KB

Great upgrade! Think about new GFX too. I suggest Radeon RX 480. It will perform well :).
