It all depends on whether the floating point unit is used.
For integer workloads it is a six core. For floating point operations, it acts as more of a three core cpu.

Yeah it is better, it even has 2 extra cores. But I would get the FX-6300 if I were you. Or just wait and see if anything new comes from AMD (Steamroller FX)

4gb RAM and a GTX 560ti is hardly anything to get excited over. Crysis 3 @ 1080p would probably only run on low-med settings, high would be virtually unplayable. And this is a game that came out last year. With the launch of the new consoles the hardware requirements are expected to jump quite a bit. Sure the 560 and 4g RAM will be ok, but at that point it would be better to just save a little more money and get something better. 8gb 1600mhz can be found for under 90$, and a GTX 660ti can be found for nearly the same price as a 560ti, and it performs significantly better.

Why the all caps rage mate? And I agree with phat71. I don't think they sell a 560ti anymore (atleast not in my country).

I dont think you should. Wait until some new CPU comes out with a new Socket, this CPU should prove sufficient for basically all the games coming out this and next year!
