I got the CPU with a 1050 ti. It's currently inside a HP 6200 MT Pro. I am planning to get a LGA 1155 mobo with a new case and psu… Is it better to save for a better build or will the CPU last long enough for the coming years?

Honestly I think this CPU is perfectly fine yet, but as always it depends on the kinds of games you play. It might be a good idea to start thinking about it, but I wouldn't be too worried, and if at some point you do feel like it's holding you back moving to a 3rd gen should be good for a while like a 3550

I have the same case and psu, did the 1050 ti fit? And is the psu enough for it? Did it require any connectors from the psu?

Considering between 1050 ti and 1060 for this CPU. Afraid it might not handle 1060 and it's not worth paying the extra money hence 1050 ti? wat shld i do?

I would say yes. I had a core 2 quad Q9550 OC to 3.1 and now own an i5 2400. Great CPU has no problems running games paired with a 970.

Any bottle-necking will be minimal. I've just paired this with a 6gb GTX 1060 and if there is any bottle-necking, I don't notice it.
