Among its many features, HyperThreading, Turbo Boost and Virtualization are activated.

Just upgraded my laptop with this cpu, used to have a i5 and wanted a few more cores for VMware and rendering. This cpu is fantastic and even runs a but cooler than the i5 however idk if that's just because of my applying new thermal compound.

i have alot of respect for this cpu its my laptop cpu its still pretty decent and it worked well for me and still does to this day

What would game performance be like with this and a Radeon HD 6570M? Would games perform better or worse than my current specs? It's been hard finding information on the graphics.

the Core i7-2630QM 4-Core 2.0GHz is really a nice processor i can play all the till now with this processor and i got RADEON HD 6770m graphics card with this processor they both are awesome………..;P

I have this cpu in my lappy, on Passmark.com benchies its within range of a core i7 2500 that is beast for a laptop cpu, they have the 2670 which is the same chip with a mere .200 mhz increase waste

@blayzking haha yeah the intel hd 3000 graphics are not all that bad. I sometimes play my games using the hd 3000 graphics.

the Core i7-2630QM 4-Core 2.0GHz  is a very good processor.does justice to a lot of games.the only downside to my rig is the gpu but still i am able to play some graphically demanding games so cant complain.
