Core i3-2100 3.1GHz is a middle-class CPU based on the 32nm, Sandy Bridge architecture.
It offers 2 Physical Cores (4 Logical), clocked at 3.1GHz and 3MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Boost and HyperThreading are activated.
The processor integrates weak Graphics called Intel HD Graphics 2000, with 6 Execution Units, initially clocked at 850MHz and that go up to 1100MHz, in Turbo Mode which share the L2 Cache and system RAM with the processor.
Both the processor and integrated graphics have a rated board TDP of 65W.
It offers average performance. This means it will become a bottleneck in some demanding applications.
What are the supported graphics card for this cpu? will this support Geforce gtx 750 ti, gtx 1050, gtx 1050 ti?
Is it worth for me to buy this i3 cpu and radeon HD 7770 ?
how does this cpu compare to my current one?
For a four year old, dual core CPU, it is great. I'm running triple A games with barely any bottlenecking paired with my GTX 760. Although, for 2015 games I'm going to need to upgrade to a Core i5.
Will it bottleneck with the gtx750ti 2gb ddr5?????
Is this cpu better then mine ?? What do you guys think.. tnx :D
Dude there is a bottleneck when running a few high end games for me but other than that perfect cpu been using it for more than 2 years
My friend is sending me his old i3 2100 and I have a XFX radeon HD 7970 black edition, and it will bottleneck it but not bad.
