hey i have a little doubt, my sister's laptop has this processor and so does my cousin, in my cousin's laptop, when going through dxdiag, it shows that this processor has 2 cpu's, which is normal.
But in my sister's laptop, when going through dxdiag, it shows that the processor has 4 cpu's. It's very puzzling, someone help :/.

its absolutely normal. laptop i5 processors has Hyper Threading function. that means each core has 2 Threads. so it has 2 physical cores and 4 threads :) in task manager you'lll see 4 cores, but if you install a program (CPU-Z) you will se there will write in the corner: 2 Cores/4 Threads

@ hunk007

If you want o good graphic card i think a gtx 560ti or gtx 570 depends on your budget but be shure to buy a good motherboard too so you can use 100% of your hardware...

this is a mobile cpu. one does not simply put a desktop class graphics card with a mobile processor. into a laptop
