Do you guys have a suggestion for a new gpu for me? I am eying GeForce GTX 970 MSI Gaming but an i7 cpu is recommended for that. Will the i5 / GTx 970 work out or would you suggest a different gpu?

High-end i5 like i5 3770k can take on GTX970 just fine, but with the i5-2320 I would might consider a GTX 960 instead ;)

i have that cpu and i can say for almost all games its enought. Maybe in some recent AAA games could bottleneck, but in general its excellent even with a gtx 970. I can play almost everything in ultra-high 1080p without a problem.

Yours is a dual core made in 2005 and this is a quad core made in 2009. This is definitely better also it's lithography is half the size 65mn to 32nm.
