Core i5-2467M 1.6GHz Game Requirement Analysis

Core i5-2467M 1.6GHz is an energy efficient mobile processor based on the 32nm, Sandy Bridge architecture.

It offers 2 Physical Cores (4 Logical), initially clocked at 1.6GHz, which may go up to 2.3GHz and 3MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Boost and Virtualization are activated.

The processor integrates weak Graphics called Intel HD Graphics 3000, with 12 Execution Units, initially clocked at 350MHz and that go up to 1150MHz, in Turbo Mode which share the L2 Cache and system RAM with the processor.
Both the processor and integrated graphics have a rated board TDP of 17W.

It offers average performance. This means it will become a bottleneck in some demanding applications.

A cousin of mine has a laptop with a processor that is weaker than this, I think a core i3 2367M which is a 35% weaker processor than this and a GT540M DDR3 which is a 40% weaker GPU than the GT640M… He gets 45-60fps on 1280x720 with AAx2 and 36-52 fps on 1366x768 with AAx2… Frame rate seems to jump up another 10fps with AA disabled…
