Pentium G630 2.7GHz Game Requirement Analysis

Pentium G630 2.7GHz is a budget processor based on the 32nm, Sandy Bridge architecture.

It offers 2 Physical Cores (2 Logical), clocked at 2.7GHz and 3MB of L3 Cache.
Among its many features, Virtualization is activated.

The processor integrates very weak Graphics called Intel HD Graphics Desktop (Bay Trail), with 6 Execution Units, initially clocked at 850MHz and that go up to 1100MHz, in Turbo Mode which share the L2 Cache and system RAM with the processor.
Both the processor and integrated graphics have a rated board TDP of 65W.

It offers average performance. This means it will become a bottleneck in some demanding applications.

Yes, I think it bottlenecks a bit although I have been able to run games like Titanfall on Ultra in 1080p but some times on other games my processor lets my GPU down and I notice significant fps drops. I must buy an i5 when I can :D

A GTX 750 Ti should work fairly well with this CPU, it would be best matched with an i3 4130 or something of the like, but it would run pretty well.

Why would anyone get a GT730?
People want to play new games and not games from 4 years ago.

according to this: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106-5.html this chip is one level above athlon II x3 455. So, in my opinion this one is better :)

Tom's hardware isn't always too reliable, and with games taking advantage of more cores, and the possibility to unlock a fourth core on the x3, I'd go with that one :)

Also, the 650 isn't too good of a deal, it's a 640 with overclock, so you could buy a 640 and OC it yourself, or go with a HD7770…

try 860 or 870 if the price is very similar. these two perform maybe 5-10% better than 630
