Athlon II X4 631 Review
The Athlon II series is based on the AMD K10 architecture and derived from the Phenom II series. However, unlike its Phenom siblings, it does not contain any L3 Cache. There are two Athlon II dies: the dual-core Regor die with 1 MB L2 Cache per core and the four-core Propus with 512 KB per core. Regor is a native dual-core design with lower TDP and additional L2 to offset the removal of L3 cache. The three core Rana is derived from the Propus quad-core design, with one core disabled.

HW Monitor showing idle temp @ 3-8°C and max after dirt 3 was roughly around 35°C ... should the idle be so low? oh, and recommend gpu's for my rig? was looking into the HD 7750 @ about 100€

I also have temperature read errors on idle with different software's but I was thinking that it was because of my noob motherboard's sensors, it seems it might be a CPU error. Btw the CPU temperature can not be lower than your room temperature even on idle and I assume your room temperature is nowhere near 3-8C so obviously its a read error :)

Totally, good choice and pretty well balanced. Would look into the fm2 athlon series though, but if not possible this is also great.

Dont know athlon prices, so i cant say, but i trust you so you are probably right
but FX series are amd cpu line for gaming ...have more cache, instruction sets etc....

This is the fm1 series of athlon, which are failed apu's. They sell them at very low prices to cover the loss.
Like, the gpu part is broken, but the cpu part isn't...

Hello, i was auto clock processor with amd overdrive , when proc get 4000mhz and this was ending of auto clocking , temperature was 57-59*c, i don't know can i safe settings or not ??? please tell me ???

57-59C idle or in full load? Because max operating temperature of that chip is 70.1C
But I suggest to stay 10C under recommended temperatures, 30-45C idle

amd cpus almost never shows good idle temperatures(i know its weird but many people have that problem)but load temperatures are 57-59C and thats good
run prime95 for few hours and use RealTemp to watch temperatures -if it will be under 70C all time with all wroking cores you have stable overclock

i don't know i use to check temp speedfan and hwinfo64 , they show what temp in full load is 47*c after 1h test with prime95, with amd overdrive i set 4ghz and showning 57*C, with speedfan 47*C, with hwinfo64 47*C.
CPUZ showing what proc have 4000mhz,the hwinfo64 showing what it have 2600mhz ??? wtf??

i tested several softwares and realtemp is one of the best and trust cpu-Z its another good soft
All cores are working after 1 hour? no errors? and 57C is very good temperature
So congratulation for your stable 4ghz overclock! :-D
