Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Review
Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz is a Quad desktop CPU based on 22nm, Ivy Bridge micro-architecture. It offers almost all of the Ivy Bridge features, except Multi-Threading. Each Core is initially clocked at 3.4GHz and will go up to 3800 MHz (Single and Dual Modes), 3700 MHz (Triple Mode) 3600 MHz (Quad Mode). It should consume no more than 77 Watt.
It also features integrated Graphics called Intel HD 4000 (and not 2500 unlike 3550), clocked at 650 MHz (up to 1150 MHz in Turbo Mode).
Its gaming performance is only slightly lower than high-end i7 CPUs but it performs considerably worse on other software applications.
Paired with the appropriate GPU, even the most demanding games will run at the highest settings.
Compared to previous 2500K, it performs up to 15% better and heats less thanks to the smaller technology.

I'm getting this with a Geforce GTX 660. Is that a good choice? My motherboard will be able to handle it and my power supply will be upgraded to 600 gigahertz

Hi guys I'm looking to build a pc using this CPU and radeon 7870. My question is can I use a gigabyte h77m d3h for $90 it's micro atx not atx. Also I already ordered a corsair cx500w psu will this be enough or should I return and get better?

id rather recommend a Z77 mobo. and if you arent oc'ing core i5-3450 or 3350P and the gigabyte H77 mobo will do fine & are a also better option. and corsair CX500w is also good PSU should be able to run 7870 :)

it'll match, but i recommend selling your gpu and with the money and your budget for a new gtx 660 to buy a gtx 680(due to scalling issues) assuming you really want to upgrade of course

don't SLI, it's unreliable and power consuming, there's also micro-stuttering, single or Dual (not SLI or Xfire) gpu's are always better, like andy said, just sell the 660 and but a 660ti or better GPU, or 7870 xt or better GPU, since 3570k is suitable for all these gpu's.
