I have a GTX 750 Ti 2GB with a pentium G2020.. I'm thinking of upgrading my cpu to i3 3220… will it be a bottleneck ? Should I go for i5 3470? Unable to play games at ultra won't bug me cause I'm more of a competitive gamer and play CSGO

The i3 should be fine since the 750 Ti is an entry level card. Anything stronger than the 750 ti tho, i would recommend an i5.

depends mate in single thread i3 3220 would be better for sure and you also gives you some upgrade path to i5 or i7 amds side 860k is nice cpu for it price but that would be one from best cpus allready on fm2+ plattform so no dicent upgrade..

It is gonna be become quite a noticeable bottleneck in CPU intensive games like GTA V and Watch Dogs. However GPU intensive games, that don't require a strong cpu should run ok. I would recommend you to get a core I5 it will give you a huge performance boost.

If I pair this with a Geforce GT730 Zotac 2GB and 4-8GB of ram could I play most car games like Beamng Drive or Automation on medium-high settings?

I think you should go for a GTX 950 with your CPU. You don't wanna regret missing out on new games :3 (the gt 730 is pretty slow)
