APU A8-5600K Quad-Core Game Requirement Analysis

APU A8-5600K Quad-Core is a performance CPU based on the 32nm, Piledriver architecture.

It offers 4 Physical Cores (4 Logical), initially clocked at 3.6GHz, which may go up to 3.9GHz and 4MB of L2 Cache.
Among its many features, Turbo Core and Virtualization are activated and the processor has the clock multiplier unlocked, meaning it can be overclocked easily.

The processor integrates mildly powerful Graphics called Radeon HD 7560D, with 256 Shader Processing Units, clocked at 760MHz, which share the L2 Cache and system RAM with the processor.
Both the processor and integrated graphics have a rated board TDP of 100W.

It is a powerful Quad Core whose performance is good. It's thus capable of running most applications smoothly without any problem.

I have this, and my task manager says
2 cores and 4 logical processors
shouldn't it be 4 cores?

Don't use task manager for that, use CPUID. Oh and this APU is kinda good at overclocking, it goes to 4.3 very easy, but mine doesn't want to go to 4.4 that easy.

Sorry buddy, but your motherboard is not compatible with this APU. You need a new motherboard that has FM2 socket, that mean you will buy new PC

Neither will the 280X for the most part, this is a decent processor, not weak by any means at all.
