I love this headset! Though the amount of people that have said "It broke after X amount of time" is amazing... I guess I'm just careful with the stuff I own ;)

I hate this headset, it broke after 3 months of careful use, I made sure I didn't do anything bad to it and it broke, first the cable had to be in a certain position to hear anything and then it just stopped working all together

That's unfortunate. I have this headset and I use it currently for everything (consoles and PC). I am looking at getting another brand/model for PC use alone.
