To help us here we will need to run the free and simple to use PC Wizard program. If you don't have PC Wizard installed yet then grab the tiny file from our Tools page.
Ok let’s run the PC Wizard .exe file and take a look at our Audio
Below we have included an image that points towards the Audio icon.
Click on the image below to zoom in.
When you select that icon you will be presented with a list of everything audio related. Including your Playback, Recording, Mixer devices, Audio and Video Codecs and so on.
Now double click on Audio Playback.

This will display all the features that your sound card supports. It also displays the supported sample rates and bit rates it is capable of. But note that it will not always display all of them. The image below shows an example of this.
