Asus Maximus IV GENE-Z Review
The Maximus IV GENE-Z is a very tightly packed motherboard based on Intel's Z68 chipset. Besides the improved chipset that now allows overclocking while the onboard graphics are in use (compared to the H67 variant where this feat was impossible), the next "big thing" in this motherboard is Lucid's Virtu "enabler" chip that corrects one of the issues encountered in the Sandy Bridge platform, Quick Sync's absence when a discrete GPU is used. With Virtu's help, now the discrete GPU and the IGP could be used simultaneously. Performance wise, the board performs almost as good as its pricier and larger siblings and its capable of respectable overclocking too, this being made considerably more pleasant by an UEFI BIOS.

I'm thinking of building my own desktop. I was wondering if the Diamond Radeon HD 7770 will be able to used on this motherboard. On Newegg.com, it says that this motherboard has PCIe 3.0 expansion slots, but this site says it doesnt. Just wondering.
