A snippet of new information has emerge about the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC, revealing that players will get the chance to step into the shoes of Michael Myers.
The star of Halloween is playable on the new 'Fog' map, allowing players to cause havoc in the abandoned cabin in the woods, complete with makeshift campsite and the serial killer’s sandpit - a torture chamber…
Players who complete a field order on the Fog map will don the iconic killer’s mask and roam the map with a sodding great axe, complete with the classic Halloween soundtrack to spur you on. The maps overflowing with creaky cabins, tall grass and rolling fog (obviously), providing the perfect stalking grounds for would-be killers.
The trailer below provides an in-depth look at the upcoming multiplayer maps which will allow you to summon on naval bombardments, blow up radioactive missiles and turn levels into a sea of fire.
We now know that the Extinction map will be set in a remote Alaskan wilderness which all sounds a bit The Thing, taking on the alien scourge until coming up against what Infinity Ward calls the largest boss the team has ever created. We’re not ones to play down expectations but as far as we’re aware Infinity Ward aren’t exactly famous for any particularly large boss encounters.
Infinity Ward revealed that one of the new weapons in Extinction mode looks to use ammunition made of alien eggs, useful hopefully for the new invisible enemies.
Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC is due to arrive on January 28th for Xbox One and Xbox 360, before arriving four weeks later on PC, Playstation 4 and Playstation 3.
