Ubisoft’s game giveaways to celebrate its 30th anniversary have really stepped it up a notch. We’ve had Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, the original Splinter Cell and the sublime Rayman Origins. Now we’re getting open-world racer The Crew on the house.
Yep, Ubisoft’s underrated driving game set in a massive open-world version of the United States is coming to PC totally free of charge. From September 14th, anyone with a Uplay account can download The Crew and get playing. Not a bad deal for a game less than two years old.
And that’s not all either, because Ivory Tower’s Soufyane Brahimi has said “to celebrate Ubisoft’s 30th anniversary we’re offering The Crew on PC with all the content that we’ve been adding in the past two years,” That includes The Crew: Wild Run and all additional season pass content such as exclusives cars, liveries and races.
A tip of the hat to Ubisoft for that one, not bad at all. I can see this put a hefty dent in Forza Horizon 3's PC aspirations. See you Stateside.
