After inexplicably going mobile only last year, Farming Simulator 2017 is back where it belongs on PC and console this year. Which is just as well, because I’ve been itching to get back behind the wheel of a sub-compact utility tractor. I’m only joking, that’s for farming noobs. I’ll be busting out the backhoe loader and getting to some real work. The delights of tractors form the basis of Farming Simulator 17’s new trailer, which is near as dammit to tractor porn. What a time to be alive.

There’ll be a frankly staggering total of more than 250 accurately recreated tractors in Farm Sim 17, coming from 75 different brands. This includes new AGCO brands for the first time like, erm, Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra. You won’t be able to afford the finest farming paraphernalia right out the gate though, so a new rental system should come in handy. Just try not to rack up mountains of debt, we don’t want Farming Simulator 2017 getting too realistic.

Lastly we have word of dedicated new Farming Simulator 17 radio stations. Just sit back, till the land and tune in to your favourite station covering all sorts of different genres. Cue Wurzels reference.

Farming Simulator 17 is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 25th.
