Good day to you all and welcome to our ease of reference breakdown of the AMD Radeon RX 460. Which is the fastest RX 460? Which is the best RX 460 Small Form factor Card? Which RX 460s are 4 GB? Which RX 460 require a 6-pin connector? Which RX 460 is the best value? All of these questions and more are what we're hoping to answer with this article, so shall we get stuck into it then and really work out which is the best RX 460?
Before we get into it though, it's probably best to give you a rundown of what the reference RX 460 looks like. What makes it tick if you will. So here's are the the RX 460s gizzards for you to feast on. The RX 460 is built on the GCN 1.3 Baffin XT Architecture. It features a 14nm process, has 56 TMUs, 896 Shader Processing Units, a core speed of 1090 MHz, a boost Clock of 1200MHz and comes in both a 2GB and 4GB variety.
With that laid out, shall we get into what you're all here for?

So there you have it, everything you need to now for when you choose the RX 460 for you. As you can see by far the fastest out the box is Sapphires NITRO RX 460 OC 4GB, with the highest base and boost speed. While the fastest small form factor has five different holders, so it's up to you to find the one that best suits you. A weird note to be made is that the HIS iCooler series's offer you a small form factor card that also has need of a 6-Pin power connector. This means that even if you have a small form case you can still overclock your RX 460 if you're so inclined.
We hope this was helpful!
