In the flurry of Darksiders 3 news a week or so ago, we overlooked a nice stack of new in-game screenshots that THQ Nordic release. They showed much anticipated action adventure in action, with Fury taking on a weird bug-like creature in an underground cave network, as well as exploring a subway station on Earth. New York is my best guess purely because just about every game with a subway is usually set in the Big Apple.
I have to say I thought the cinematic reveal trailer for Darksiders 3 looked terri-bad, however, what we're seeing of the in-game action shows far more promise indeed. A number of the original Darksiders developers are on board with Gunfire Games, so the unthinkable could happen any we may get a worthy sequel.
We should find out plenty more on Darksiders 3 in the coming months. However, we do have a bit of a wait on our hands for the final game. THQ Nordic has pegged it for a vague 2018 launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
