Fresh footage has emerged showcasing 20 minutes of uninterrupted, direct feed footage of Assassin’s Creed: Origins on the Xbox One X. It shows the E3 2017 mission, which involves the tracking down and executing of a man known as ‘The Crocodile’.

It’s not the whole thing, unfortunately, as it appears they ran out of time, but it’s a decent gameplay chunk that shows how the moment to moment play will pan out in AC: Origins.

Whoever’s on the controls could do with a little bit of practice I think, particularly considering the curious decision to swim half a kilometre rather than just grab a sailing boat that was perched right there. Anyway, I’m also far too into water in games, but Ubisoft looks to have nailed it here, it’s looking absolutely gorgeous.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is out on October 27th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
