Another day, another Total War: Warhammer 2 trailer, or at least that’s how it feels. Still, we’re chugging towards its September 28th launch at a rate of knots now, so who are we to begrudge Creative Assembly some fun. This time around we’re taking a look at the New World of Total War: Warhammer II, a new continent which stretches from the jungle city of Hexoatl to the Elven haven of Lothern.
“The New World boasts many festering ancient jungles and cold, desolate, isolating lands scarred from anarchic dark magic. Gaze upon its beauty, taking in its wondrous sights and plot your path to victory,” says CA.
It’s pretty alright, but time will tell whether this is just window dressing or actual, playable areas. Visually the sequel looks much the same as the original, although there are some impressive environmental effects going on at certain points that do look a cut above.
Total War: Warhammer II is coming to PC on September 28th. If you preorder you get access to the Norsca race in the original Total Warhammer for free.
