Fare thee well Crimson, it was nice knowing you, for AMD has its next major driver release right around the corner. AMD’s been busy teasing its new Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition drivers in a brand spanking new trailer, with a release planned for some time in December.

And, uh, that’s about it. AMD’s only really prepared to reveal the name of the Radeon Software Adrenalin driver update, and not really inclined to show us what’s actually included. If it’s anything like the previous annual driver releases though (including Radeon Crimson & Crimson ReLive) then expect some major changes under the hood for Radeon graphics cards.

Leaks so far have pointed towards AMD adding an MSI Afterburner-style in-game overlay for tracking all sorts of performance metrics. We can’t vouch for the leak’s veracity, although it sounds like a decent and useful addition.

From the sounds of things, we should have plenty more details on Radeon Adrenalin shortly. What software changes are you hoping to see implemented? Anything GeForce can do that you'd like to see Radeon attempt? Let us know!
