Blink and you’d have missed it, but Respawn CEO Vince Zampella was in attendance at EA’s Play E3 press conference to announce the name of its new Star Wars game.

Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars game will be called Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order. Zampella was being pretty coy on just what the game is going to entail, but he did say it was going to be set during a dark time in the Star Wars timeline, at a time when the remaining Jedi were being ruthlessly hunted down.

Other details were disappointingly scarce. We do know already that Jedi - Fallen Order will be a third-person action-adventure game with a single-player focus. More details are promised for E3 2019.

We did get a launch window for Star Wars: Jedi - Fallen Order though. Zampella said Respawn is targeting a holiday 2019 launch for Star Wars Jedi.
