Bethesda couldn’t wait their turn, revealing an all-new trailer for Fallout 76, just hours before its own conference is set to take place. Bethesda VP of marketing, Todd Howard, busted onto the Xbox stage to reveal the trailer, as well as a few interesting new tidbits of information.
"Set in the hills of West Virginia," Hines said, "You are one of the first to emerge into a very different and untamed wasteland."
Fallout 76 will be a prequel to the first ever Fallout, and it’ll be set all around the rolling countryside and hellish apocalypse of West Virginia. Hines was also at pains to tell us that Fallout 76 will feature the largest explorable map in a Fallout game to date, claiming it’s four times bigger than Fallout 4’s map.
