Focus Home Interactive and developer Asobo Studio have just dropped a new trailer for A Plague Tale: Innocence, its new adventure game set in 12th century France.

The Kingdom of France is currently been ravaged by a brutal plague carried by rats. They’re swarming villages, towns, the countryside and battlefields, killing men, women, children, and animals alike. The rats are hungry, and they’re devouring everything in their path.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is, unsurprisingly, a grim story, one which focuses on siblings Amicia and Hugo, trying to survive on a land overcome by the Black Death. Gameplay will blend together adventure, action, and stealth, on the run from both the Inquisition and the encroaching swarms of rats.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2019.
