Skyrim Creation Kit nearly with us

A tweet from The Dragon Born himself came through earlier today.

Peter Hines - For our Skyrim PC fans, the Creation Kit is on track for release on Tuesday (7th Feb 2012). And, we also have a special surprise with it...

So does anyone know what they think the special suprise is going to be?

Some people are saying Horse Armour, ahem... Some are saying it is a high res texture map. Well not long to find out.

The Skyrim Creation Kit will enable everyone the chance to build and submit their very own Skyrim adjustments, missions and lots more. The Creation Kit will be very similar to the actual development tools used by the Bethesda dev gods

Since the games release the Skyrim gamers have already been adjusting and tinkering to their hearts content, bringing all sorts of excellent mods. So consider what can be achieved now that we will all have access to the Creation Kit?

To check out existing mods take a look at the Skyrim Nexus, where you can download mods right now.

The new Creation Kit, however, will move things away from the more independant Skyrim Nexus, that has been providing us with mods so far and utilise Steam Workshop where gamers can install directly into their Skyrim game using the Steam infrastructure that the game comes embedded with.

Creation Kit goodies will only work on PC. It is good to have a PC, right?

Submit A Benchmark

How To

Run your choosen Benchmark Tool on your PC, using the benchmark tool's default setting. Take a screenshot displaying the benchmark score and information displaying your rig and submit that to us.
