Claptrap loves the PC gamer

Claptrap, the Borderlands 2 robot mascot, players may remember from the first Borderlands game, wants to let PC gamers know that Borderlands 2 is going to be made to work well on the PC and not just be a crapy console port.

Obviously we only have his word for it at the moment, but his word is penned into a love letter to the PC gamer and identifies the following items that they will be doing to help the PC gamer enjoy the experience...

  • 100% mouse usable menus/mouse wheel scrolling
  • Remappable keybindings for keyboard/mouse
  • FOV slider
  • PC-specific UI
  • Friends list support
  • Push to talk
  • Native multiplayer matchmaking
  • Cloud save support
  • Logitech keyboard support
  • LAN support (including offline mode)
  • Control pad support
  • Integrated V-sync option
  • Support for higher resolutions
  • Mouse smoothing options (can be disabled completely)
  • Cloud save support
  • Achievement support
  • No port forwarding required

Pff, Logitech needs no specified support. I have yet to acquire a Logitech keyboard (it's on the list), but I've got an F310 Gamepad, and an M510 Mouse, both of which can be fully customized for any game I want...except Gears of War, for some reason mouse input sucks in that game.
