Warlock Master of The Arcane Requirements

A long time ago Ardania stood on the brink of chaos. The Conclave of High Priests had risen in rebellion. The Great King in his infinite wisdom united man and monster in order to...You get the idea right? Its brightly coloured high fantasy, following on from the popular Majesty 2, also published by Paradox Interactive. I have to say i always enjoy these sorts of titles.

Unlike Majesty 2, however, Warlock: Master of The Arcane is a turn based strategy and boasts some serious system requirements to get it rolling. Lets take a look at the Warlock Master system requirements...

Warlock Master of The Arcane Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows vista, Windows 7

CPU: Dual Core CPU

RAM: 2 Gb

GPU: GeForce GT240 512Mb or comparable

HDD: 4 Gb

AUDIO: DirectX 9.0c compatible

DX: DirectX 9.0c

OTHER: keyboard, mouse

Warlock Master of The Arcane Recommended System Requirements

OS: Windows 7

CPU: Quad Core CPU

RAM: 4 Gb

GPU: GeForce GTX460 1Gb or compartible

AUDIO: DirectX 9.0c compatible

DX: DirectX 9.0c

OTHER: keyboard, mouse

So there you go, a turn based empire building game that wants a quad core and HUGE graphics card for recommended requirements. Not sure about these and I really want to hear back from gamers who get their hands on this. Stick the FPS results up on the site as soon as you run your tests guys. Also you can pop over and grab the demo right now if you want to see if this is really true.

Just tried Demo - The specs seem way too high at this point. My rig delivered 88 FPS during the demo.
Game seems fun though and I am looking forward to playing the full version. It has been a while since I played a good turn based empire building fantasy game.

Same here, constant 80 FPS. Didn't drop at any point :)
