Elder Scrolls Online Confirmed

Exciting news has just come in - Bethesda have confirmed The Elder Scrolls Online. Following the explosive entry in November, with Skyrim, which attained the accolade of "fastest selling Steam title" to date, and the rich heritage of the the Elder Scrolls universe, collectively make this a very logical setting for an MMO.

It has also been confirmed that the Elder Scrolls MMORPG will be available in English, German and French. Lets take a look at the press release for some more info on this...

The Elder Scrolls Online is being developed for PC and Mac under the leadership of industry veteran Matt Firor, who has spent the last two decades working in online game development. Details about the game are revealed in an exclusive cover story in Game Informer®’s June issue, which ships to subscribers and newsstands this month.

“We have been working hard to create an online world in which players will be able to experience the epic Elder Scrolls universe with their friends, something fans have long said they wanted,” said Matt Firor, game director of The Elder Scrolls Online. “It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years. The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made – and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise.”

This is the reason me and my friend couldn't get into this game. I'm so stoked right now! I really do hope it's a one time only payment though, because i'm already paying for TERA Online. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Dats exactly wats bothering everyone. I still think it'l be one-time payment only keeping in mind Bethesda's treatment towards d gamers - which has been pretty good....so far :)

Yeah just like guild wars, nothing to miss out on, no jointly fees and the developers still make a lot of money. As long as it's not like WoW "Buy our game then pay some more" I'll be happy. I want Tera but it's the one thing stopping me, subscription fees leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Yeah I agree, DRM doesn't stop pirates only Paying customers from using the software how they want. It's infuriating. Also Jointly was meant to say ongoing.. stupid spellcheck.

Obvously I meant ruin and no I can't run everything but I just found a GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 cores on Amazon for a pretty good deal so that might change :D
Oh and this game will probably have great NVIDIA driver support just like Skyrim V, which runs fine on high since the latest release. It's amazing really.
