Birthday Battlefield with GD

Its time to start the music, its time to light the lights, its nearly time to get things started on TM's BF birthday bonanza. Ok, that didnt quite scan, but hey lets all play Battlefield 3 together. When?

Saturday 12th May 16:30 GMT (GD time). And once TM has inspected everyone's boots we will kick off at 17:00 GMT. Contact TeroMarsu on GD or via BF3 Battlelog to get in on the action...

We wont be renting a server this time around so TeroMarsu will choose and direct us all to an available server. So it is important to make sure he is a friend on Battlelog.

Game-Debate has a platoon called Game-Debate Warriors. Join this and help us fight...err, everyone else!

Final note - There have been a few issues with people not appearing to be online in Battlelog when they in fact are. The best thing to do is buddy every GD player and at least one of those guys will be visible to you when a server is chosen and you will be able to follow them to it.

Where can I join up for events, I recently bought a rig that can play Battlefield 3, bought a decent headset too, only to find Battlefield 3 doesn't have a dedicated VOIP :D

One funny thing that happened during this event: I saw Felix lying down on the ground and I thought "Cool, now I can knife him". So I sneaked up on him and accidently pressed 'G' instead of 'F' so I threw a grenade at my own feet :D Felix noticed me and killed me with few well aimed shots from his assault rifle and then he died himself from my 'misplaced' grenade :D :D Damn I laughed :D :D
We really should do this more often, it was pure bliss :)

That was a very funny and memorable moment for me too.
I dont know why but for some reason I sensed someone was behind me. I jumped up and spun around and somehow managed to kill the person. I had a massive grin on my face when I realised it was the birthday boy and assumed he was trying to knife me in the back.
I instinctively laid back down after placing the killing shot. While doing so I realised TM had left me a gift and I was now laying on his grenade. Laughing and knowing that TM would hopefully be watching this funny turn of events I was desperately scrambling to a standing position and trying to jump out of the way. I was too slow and TM got the last laugh from beyond the grave, as his grenade tore me to pieces.
Awesome fun! More please!

cant play,internet connection is !$%£.takes about a minute to go to google and any other website.youtube videos dont load,at all.i cant imagine what my ping would be while playing.im pretty sure it would be unplayable.18:15 now,the event is probably over.i have 4 green lines,indicating that the internet connection is fast now,but its the slowest internet i ever got.im pissed of about this and sad i missed the event.anyway,happy birthday Tero.
