Activision has announced their next MW3 DLC. It will be the second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
It's called "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Collection 2". This will release on May 22, 2012 for Xbox 360, and as always a non disclosed time later for Playstation 3 and PC. A point of note, PC gamers have just got their hands on the first content collection pack, months after the Xbox360 community were able to play it.
MW3 DLC Collection Pack 2 includes 3 multiplayer maps (Sanctuary, Foundation and Oasis), 2 Special Ops maps (Iron Clad and Kill Switch) and 4 Face Off Maps (Getaway, Lookout, Erosion and Aground). Each map is completely different, offering up different locations and terrain.
Face Off is a brand new game play mode that can be played as 1 player vs 1 player or 2 players vs 2 players, close combat. Naturally maps in this mode are quite small. This is interesting and shows that gaming, like everything else, often develops in a complete circle. Remember the classic multiplayer games like the original Goldeneye multiplayer? They were one versus one maps.
