Twilight is the perfect time to go for a stroll

The never ending saga of Sims 3 delivers another expansion pack, we are informed by EA. This time it is Sims 3: Supernatural.

In Supernatural players will be able to turn their sims into werewolves, witches, wizards, zombies and vampires, which were included in Sims 3: Late Night. The vampires are going to be tweaked slightly to include more pronounced facial features...

Each new magical creature will come with its own unique interactions and abilities – oh and yeah, there will be biting. Sims 3: Supernatural also includes a new town called Moonlight Shores. A new career called mystic fortune teller is also included.

Wizards and Witches will cast spells and make potions, pretty much like in the Sims 2: Apartment Life but this time also get a broomstick to fly around.

Details about the new town and the other magical creatures are unknown but will probably be revealed during the live broadcast At 10:00 am PST on Tuesday, June 19 with Assistant Producer Megan Myers.

Sims 3: Supernatural will first retail as a limited edition, that includes Plants vs. Zombies peashooters and special clothes.

So to recap, werewolves, vampires, witches, Moonlight Falls - Anyone want to tell me who they think this expansion pack is aimed at?

That's right. It's not bad actually. Sims 3 is already a very bad optimized game with a horrible unstable engine. Playing it with DirectX 11 would probably be more trouble than joy, perhaps even for high-end GPUs. The game relies a lot on texture loading which depends on system ram. When DDR4 pops up, paired with a SSD, then we will have a huge experience - that and Sims 4!

Is EA still creative enough with the Sims series? Never played one though and I think you will never be able to convince me to play one :P

Honestly? No.
Only a couple of expansion packs have been worth the money... :S

The thing about the sims series is that I have already created the all the families and done everything with them and the new expansion packs "don't make me come back for more"..you understand? I remember when I was sick of Sims 2 and Seasons came out. It was awesome. Same for open for business and pets and some other. Now, only World Adventures made me come back for more.
