Terminal - The place where snipers were born.

There has been a rumour going around that owners of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will gain access to old maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

One of these maps is reported to be Terminal and we have found some leaked footage...

The gameplay footage is taken from the Xbox 360. You might notice that this map is not live yet, but the user who made the video has found a way to bypass the Modern Warfare 3 game files and make these new maps playable on his Xbox.

Later, Mark Rubin from Infinity Ward has explained via Twitter, that this map is going to be available for free very soon.

Let's take a look at this amazing gameplay footage, shall we?

I am all for new maps costing money, but I think the costs need to be a lot more reasonable in price and therefore accessible.
As it stands, not being able to play certain maps with TaheRookie in BF3 for example, is just wrong. He rightly wont cough up £39.99 for a bulk set of DLC, Premium BF3. People should buy into maps on a per map basis for just £1, or maybe £3 for a couple of themed maps. That way gamers can refine their map collection and naturally the good maps would have far more players in them who were happy to have bought the DLC.
But it is far more cost effective for companies like EA to pull gamers into a bulk DLC deal where we get some crap and some awesome stuff and they charge you a lot more.
What do you guys think?

You stole my words! I will buy it from the bargain bin if and when it arrives. And yea, not playing with you guys is sure a bummer! Oh well, its just a matter of time. But damn EA!

I think it's gonna take a while since it includes all the DLCs... You'll have to wait at least until Armored Kill is released :(

A per map pricing would be sweet :)
And I agree with that, players with new DLCs (like B2K for BF3) will most likely play on the new maps and forget about the 'lower' players who just don't have enough money to purchase every single DLC just to keep themselves in the game...

the idea is the same but the final product is very different, bf3 B2K offered 4 old maps from games that are over 7 years old and completely rearranged them and they gave it a complete makeover graphics wise, MW3 uses the same engine and has the same level of graphics as MW2 so you get the same product for a new game and you pay again, i find it unfair.

I was giving a vague example, but I totally understand your thoughts. But you made a mistake there. Its, " MW3 uses the same engine and has the same level of graphics as MW2 so you get the same product for then SAME game and you pay again, i find it unfair." ;)
