Darksiders 2 Requirements

Darksiders II lets you play as the ultimate dark horseman, DEATH. Due for release on the 16th August.

As DEATH you will be attempting to redeem your brother WAR, from the original Darksiders, who was blamed for starting the Apocalypse prematurely in Darksiders. Lets take a look at the Darksiders 2 system requirements...

Darksiders 2 Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista SP1 or Windows 7

CPU: 2.0Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor or AMD equivalent

RAM: 2GB

HDD: 20 GB space free (10 GB free after install)

GPU: Nvidia 9800 GT 512 MB Video Card or AMD equivalent

Online Steam account

Darksiders 2 Recommended System Requirements

OS: Windows 7

CPU: Any Quad-core AMD or Intel Processor

RAM: 2GB

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 512MB Video Card or AMD equivalent

second... i'm sure i can run it good since laptop runs the first one great, and also skyrim, batman arkham : city and asylum, and lots of others that "they" say it won't haha... they need to test 'em before they say it won't run it at all XD

You mean you love the game? If that's the case, yeah Darksiders universe is amazing. And yeah, sometimes people consider the "requirements", but they are always a Bit higher IMO.

Sometimes the devs will overstate the minimum specs just to hedge their bets against angry customers who might just meet the minimum but still have trouble running the game. On the other hand, some devs report minimum specs that will barely load the game menu, and not really run the game sufficiently at all. That's why sites like GD are so valuable for PC gamers with older or budget systems.

Adryan, I said Other 3 brothers, with Death that's four horsemen. And famine doesn't appear on Darksiders universe, it's Fury instead, and it's a female character :D so that would be brothers and sister

I am eagerly waiting this game since I finished DarkSiders I. Can't wait to see how Death Fights. I felt War was slow. Lets test Death by then :) Hope there is a third part featuring Conquest. !
Lets see how will be the graphics. and I am sure the game will be optimized hence the requirements we see.

Yea. From the gameplay walk-troughs, the graphic looks slick and Death's moves 'look' faster. And as Raystlyn said, the conquest is there and named Strife. With this, all your doubts are covered ;)

Death can't block like war, but he can do barrel-roll ;) and yeah he is a lot faster than War. There's a skill tree that enhances movement and speed as well.
