We thought we would test a very demanding game, an average demanding game and a lesser demanding game. Our 3 choices were Battlefield 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Call of Duty: Black ops. Let's start with the lesser Demanding game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops:
1024x768. Medium Settings No AA, No AF.
Intel HD 3000: An average of 28 fps.
Intel HD 4000: An average of 36 fps.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim:
1280x720, Low settings, No AA, No AF.
Intel HD 3000: An average of 26 fps
Intel HD 4000: An average of 37 fps.
Battlefield 3:
1024x768, Medium AA, AF: 2x.
Intel HD 3000: An average of 18 fps.
Intel HD 4000: An average of 26 fps.
In conclusion, you can see that Intel 4000 Graphics outperform the Intel 3000 graphics by an estimated average of 10fps, in each game.
