Dishonored Requirements

Dishonored, Bethesda's next big title. You are the once-trusted bodyguard of the Empress. Framed for her murder and driven by revenge, you must become an infamous assassin, known only by the disturbing mask that has become your calling card.

Lets take a look at the Dishonored system requirements to see what sort of beast you will need to play it...

Dishonored Minimum System Requirements

OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7

CPU: 3.0 GHz dual core or better

RAM: 4 GB system memory

GPU RAM: DirectX 9 compatible with 512 MB video RAM

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or ATI Radeon HD 5850

HDD: 9 GB

Audio: Windows compatible sound card

Enhanced for: 64-bit multi-core

Dishonored Recommended System Requirements

OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7

CPU: 2.4 GHz quad core or better

RAM: 4 GB system memory

GPU RAM: DirectX 9 compatible with 768 MB video RAM or better

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850

What do you think about those requirements? It seems the minimum GPU requirements are the same as the recommended requirements and they are pretty high. We have made some adjustments to the Dishonored system requirements tool to reflect our feelings on the specs, but obviously once you guys get your hands on a demo or the game, let us know the frame ratings you achieve with your particular system.

Submit A Benchmark

How To

Run your choosen Benchmark Tool on your PC, using the benchmark tool's default setting. Take a screenshot displaying the benchmark score and information displaying your rig and submit that to us.

Quite high requirements, and don't think the graphics of this one blew me away.. Still, the gameplay is amazing so i'll be getting it.

You can notice that the minimum&recommended Ram&GPU are same.So they are actually recommended not minimum.
Looks like developers didn't write those requirements carefully or they were drunk? :D

When your Win Vista/7 system isn't optimized at all, in the meantime I can imagine 4GBs to be a minimum RAM requirement...I've seen many people having >1GB RAM utilization just after booting up.....but when they come up with a dual core 3.0 GHz (probably the E5700 or less likely the E8400), why don't they for example recommend DDR2 800MT/s (FSB:DRAM 1:2 for the E5700) or DDR2 667(1:1)/DDR3 1333MT/s (1:2) (E8400)? :/
