Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Takes The Franchise Back To Wild West

Call of Juarez: Cartel was crap. Probably lacked funds but most importantly it lost the magic of the series that let it stand out from the crowd. The Wild West!

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger has now been announced and it makes it very clear from the start that this next title will be all about injuns and wild west stuff...

To be more precise, the game will take place out in the tundra of the American frontier. It is said that a narrator will tell the tale of your duellist’s dealings with famous gunslingers like Billy the Kid and Jesse James.

One of the few announced features is that you can shoot enemies for points. You must hit them in the head, which meant justice back in the day. A trailer was released recently, together with some screenshots. 

The trailer is quite short, and the main event is a man being hung, and another man (presumed the perpetrator) reading an article in the paper. The screenshots speak for them self, nice environments, graphics and most importantly the lively cowboy style!

So what do you guys reckon, did Techland and Ubi do too much damage to the franchise with the terrible CoJ:Cartel or will they pull back the fans with an awesome Western in CoJ: Gunslinger? It sure looks purdy
