The racing game developers, Codemasters, has announced a playable demo of it's F1 2012 for PC, Xbox 360 and the PS3.
With F1 2011 not differentiating itself from it's predecessor it felt like more or less, the same game. It starting to sound like Codemasters have done their homework this time around...
The developers have brought significant changes with this new entrant in the F1 franchise, and it looks to be bigger and better. New modes include 'Young Driver Test' mode which is a tutorial of soughts. And a 'Season Challenge' race at Monza - both to be featured in the upcoming demo.
It also has the 'Champions Mode' that will feature six World Champions - Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher - battling it out in the 2012 season. You will pitted against them in conditions better known to them. Tough? Ought to be. This is for champions after all!
Releasing demos for new games is becoming a norm for developers these days. What it does is give the potential gamers a chance to try out the game in a bid to convince them in paying full-price for it, while solidifying the fans of their doubts. For us, it's a boon. Like the demo, get it. If not, don't bother. As simple as that.
F1 2012 demo will surface on September 10, 11 and 12 for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 respectively. The full game will release across all platforms in the rear-end of this month.
Codemasters has built the game upon the EGO Engine v2.0, a revamped version of the one used in the previous game of the franchise.
Are you going to give F1 2012 a shot? If you do, give us your feedback below and dont forget to pass through your frames per second figures and if not, your welcome to speak your mind anyway.
