AMD is working on a new line of processor's, based on the Piledriver-architecture. These will have to replace the current processor's which are working with the Bulldozer-architecture.
You can pre-order the processor's in a webshop already, which revealed the price...
The prices will vary from 130 to 250 dollars. The processor's without the on board GPU's will have to compete with the Core-i5 and Core-i7 processor's of Intel.
These new FX processor's are released in each the 4000, 6000 and 8000 series. The 4000 series will have 4 cores, the 600 series will have 6 cores and the 8000 series will obviously have 8 cores.
