Diablo 3 DLC confirmed
Written by Stuart Thomas on 08 November 2012 at 14:32

Blizzard, ultra-successful developers of World of Warcraft and Diablo, have announced that there will be an expansion pack for Diablo 3.

This comes as no real surprise considering the massive success of the parent game and the industry's infatuation with bolt-on sales. Further infformation on the addon pack is sketchy, however...

"I don't have any timeline to talk about. I think that the most important thing for us always comes down to the quality of the expansion and the gameplay, and so that will be a big factor in terms of driving our schedule" seems to be the long and short of it. Those words, from Mike Morhaime of Blizzard, are all we have to go on.

Is this good news? Does Diablo 3 need more content? More importantly, will you buy it? Please chat about it in the discussion box forever!

I gave up on D3 after beating it once. It's non-stop grinding for items and that 'always online' DRM is the biggest pain in the butt. I hate being at the mercy of my internet connection.

I think D3 needs a DLC with a strong follow-up story line . LoD proved that expansions make quite a big difference, and if Blizzard have learnt anything, they really should a strong base story which could possibly set the pace for D4.
