An Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag has buccaneered its way onto our doorstep this afternoon, detailing the graphical differences between the current and next-gen versions of Ubisoft's flagship title.
You'll be pleased to know that the next Assassin's outing does look reassuringly lovely; there are a number of features which have piqued our interest for when this title lands on our shores...
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag - Ship To Ship Combat
The first up is the all new water physics system in place, couple with the claim that it's the most realistic ocean we'll have ever seen. Virtually of course, and it's difficult to argue with them; it uses the Beaufort scale, which are we are reliably informed is how wind and air pressure affect tidal movements. That definitely sounds nice and next-gen to us, even we may not know exactly how it translates through to gameplay.
This is swiftly followed up by advanced lighting and weather conditions, and aspect which looks hugely interesting. The rain effects in particular look incredibly atmospheric, it really seems to add another level of quality to its environments.
Anyway, that's enough drooling for one day, check the video out below to see it in action for yourself!
What did you think, has it got you excited for the incoming next-gen or are you there already?

I don't know why but I wasn't disappointed by AC 3, rather it was great except for the part that the history was involved. But I hope black flag won't deal with any history, and of course the graphics look stunning as well as the location chosen and also the gameplay and everything :D
Every AC part ,,deals'' with history...AC1-Fight in the holy land (which happended),AC2 and Brotherhood were set in Renaissance,AC Revelations in Constantinople and AC3 in American revolution........AC4 Black Flag as we all know will be set in time when pirates like Blackbeard lived and some more pirates that are maybe less known...Envolving in history is what makes Assassins Creed even more fun...
