Many of you have probably been getting to grips with the Injustice 2 online open beta on PC this week. Port house QLOC has been gathering feedback double time, and it now turns out they’ll be ready for a full release next week.
It's been a bit of a wait for Injustice 2, but the highest rated fighting game of 2017 will be launching on PC imminently. In the meantime, there's an open beta available to play right now on Steam. If you want to punch Batman in the face for the sorry mess that was Arkham Knight, now is your chance. It also means we've got our spandex-clad mitts on the official Injustice 2 PC system requirements.
Warner Bros has announced that NetherRealm Studios’ Injustice 2 will be coming to PC shortly. It’s not exactly the most surprising announcement, there have been rumours that a PC port has been in the works for a while now.
In news that will come as very little of a surprise, Amazon, among other retailers, have leaked the existence of Injustice 2 on PC. Originally launched on consoles in May of this year, Injustice 2 garnered rave reviews and was swiftly rewarded with impressive sales, becoming the highest-grossing console game in the second quarter of 2017. After a few months of waiting, it appears it may now be PC gaming’s turn to enter the fray.
NetherRealm Studios has released the latest in a string of Injustice 2 gameplay trailers, this time introducing us to the baddies which make up the fighting game’s repertoire. Gorilla Grodd, Bane, Captain Cold and the Scarecrow are all bringing their unique blends of psychopathy to the table in the wake of Superman’s failed coup.
Superman really went and ballsed everything up in the original Injustice. He had it all. Laser eyes. Frost breath. Free flight. No seemed to care he turned up to work with his underwear over his trousers. Stricken with grief he screwed it up for everyone, and it turns out this has provided the Brainiac with an opening in Injustice 2, as seen in the all-new story trailer.
Injustice 2 now has a release date, as revealed by Mortal Kombat creator and creative director Ed Boon on Twitter.
Following the leak earlier today, Injustice 2 has officially been announced along with an E3 2016 trailer, adding yet more to the already overloaded hype train of next week's event. The trailer showcases a brief scuffle between Batman, Superman, The Flash and more, while Aquaman shows he can more than hold his own against the puny Mr Wayne. The big takeaway though is that is console only; there is no PC version of Injustice 2 in the works.
Another leak, this time courtesy of US retail store GameStop. The game in question is Injustice 2, sequel to NetherRealm Studios’ fighting game in which some of DC’s most iconic heroes face off against one another, including the likes of Batman, The Flash, Superman, Green Arrow, and, er, Black Adam.
