We’ve been a bit of a dry territory for graphics card driver updates, a sort of sweet mercy for our download caps. This little situation has come about because there’s been practically zero AAA games to speak of, the usual titles which justify Nvidia or AMD kicking into action. Nvidia’s got itself into gear though, releasing a new GeForce Game Ready Driver for Lawbreakers, Ark: Survival Evolved’s proper launch, Dark & Light and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice.
In case you weren't aware, the Lawbreakers PC beta took place this weekend, some six weeks before the proper launch of the fast-paced online shooter. If you missed it then you might be able to squeeze some in today, however, the servers are due to go down imminently. Nvidia has just released its latest GeForce Game Ready driver. Before you go getting excited about a new Spider-Man title though, this is a five-minute virtual reality experience designed to tie in with the new Spider-Man: Homecoming movie. At heart a class-based shooter, LawBreakers pits teams of killers against one another; the Law versus the 'Breakers.
Remember LawBreakers, the new free-to-play PC shooter from Gears of War creator Cliff ‘CliffyB’ Bleszinski? The one where humanity has blown up the moon? Well don’t worry, it hasn’t been cancelled, but CliffyB has announced it’s no longer going to be F2P, launching instead as a premium title.
We’ve finally got our hands on some of the first gameplay footage of Cliff Bleszinki’s LawBreakers. As you’d expect from one of the lead designers of Unreal Tournament, LawBreakers is a sci-themed arena shooter, albeit team-based and with player classes.
Gears of War creator Cliff ‘CliffyB’ Bleszinski has taken the wraps off of BlueStreak, or Project BlueStreak if you like, and erm... it turns out it’s actually called LawBreakers. The team at Boss Key Studios has settled on LawBreakers then which isn’t the most inspiring name, but lest we judge a book by its cover, we’ve got the first details on this multiplayer shooter.
