Warhammer: Vermintide 2’s beta test is playable this weekend, providing players with a taste of Fatshark’s upcoming Left 4 Dead-alike sequel. The big change this time around is the addition of the Chaos horde as an enemy faction, on top of the already thronging masses of Skaven.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be launching on March 8th for PC, developer Fatshark has revealed.  Those who launch down the cash for a pre-order will also get access to an exclusive Vermintide beta test which starts on February 28th. How lucky we are to be able to pay to test something.
After sort of revealing Warhammer: Vermintide 2 back in August, Fatshark has gone and made it all official with an announcement, gameplay trailer, and the official PC system requirements for Warhammer Vermintide 2. I wasn't overly enamoured with the original in my review, but it seems enough people liked it to justify a sequel.
You gotta hand it to the developers, pushing to raise our curiosity a whole month before an actual reveal. I suppose this makes this a reveal of a reveal. The grim world of Warhammer will return in Vermintide 2, which will carry on from the events of the original Warhammer - The End Times Vermintide.
