How well optimised is Shogun 2: Total War - Fall of the Samurai for PC? 5

This is the latest released installment of the Total war series, the next game coming out with be Rome total war 2 which I will be really excited about. The premise of Shogun Total War 2: Fall of the Samurai is that there are two sides you can join in on. You can either join the imperial side and welcome in the westerners (USA, Great Britain, and France) or side with the Shoganate and chose the side of trying to keep the way Japan was before the westerners. The imperial campaign is where you have to reunite the entire Japanese empire and let it rule once again. The same with the Shoganate but they want more of the traditional way of life.

The single player custom battles are super addicting. You have over 15+ units you can chose from and command and lead them to their death you to their victory; it's all on the gamer’s skill. It is nice that in battle that you can command the speed in which the battle takes place and where you want to locate your troops. I think that in that game they beat out Empire Total War because in Empire Total War (ETW) the troops did not listen well. If you told them to go to one location they would walk half way across the map and back again. I think they finally succeeded in creating a good Total War since Rome Total War.

  • Troops actually listen
  • Great Graphics
  • Player Vs. Player Online

  • Must use steam
  • Takes a while to start
  • A few playable factions
